When you enter the school please

  • Wear a face covering.

  • Scan or sign in at the office.

  • Sanitize your hands.

  • Keep a 2m distance from others.

Reminder: John Parsons Cyber Safety Parent Evening


Monday 27 September John Parsons, Cyber Safety expert is holding a parent evening in Room 2 at Riversdale School. All welcome.


Riversdale School and Community Pool Meeting


Tuesday 28 September at 7.30pm in the school staffroom. Come along and see how close we are to getting the new heat pump installed.


Riversdale Junior Rugby Prize Giving

Congratulations to the following students who received a trophy at the rugby prize giving yesterday.


A Grade - MVP Eden Smith, MIP Quinn Campbell. B Grade - MVP Monty Tremaine, MIP Ryan Wing.

C Grade - MVP Campbell Tremaine, MIP Ruby Marshall.

Rippa 2nd Year - MVP Sam Rossiter, MIP Harry Crooks. Rippa 1st Year - MVP George Houghton.


B Grade worked very hard this season. They played 14 games, won 12, lost 2 and then came away with the top first place trophy for Central, Western, Northern Rugby Competition. Great work team. We are all so proud of you. Ryan and George (two captains) with their trophy.


School Values Awards


At Riversdale School children are awarded House Points

for displaying the school values of; respectful, responsible

and resilient. Children are working towards achieving values targets.


50 House Points = Bronze Values Award.

100 House Points = Silver Values Award.

150 House Points = Gold Values Award.


Congratulation to George and Campbell who have received their Bronze School Values Award for earning 50 House Points.


Congratulation to Evie, Zac, Georgia, Mackenzie, Dakota and Max who have received their Silver School Values Award for earning 100 House Points in 2021. Ka Pai!

We will be acknowledging the students that received certificates for displaying the values of being respectful, resilient, and responsible, at Riversdale School, in the newsletter the following week. Ka Pai! You all displayed the school values so well last week.

Dictionaries


Last Friday the Year 4 students received a lovely illustrated dictionary from the Gore Rotary Club.
